These are my favorite bras to sell. I love how supportive they are, and customers always crack up when I tell them the best part is that they actually give you two boobs...!
You and I seem to be in some posting synchrony lately...later today I was going to post my final "how to find a bra that fits" piece on nursing bras, calling that style out as a total favorite! We used to get people coming back to say "give me 4 more of those", or try them on and throw every other bra they'd already chosen out of the basket. We were constantly having to re-order, and the company would sometimes delay the orders because they kept running out of them ;-)
My only caveat to these bras is that they don't really work over a D or max DD cup (and oh, how many nursing women out there are over a D cup!) I'm a DDD (F) cup (without ever having nursed a baby!) and tried one on myself out of curiosity...nope. The sizing just doesn't work for women with a big difference between rib cage and breasts. Maybe someday they'll come out with sizes like they do for their original model, with the Plus and Double-Plus sizes for the rest of us!
I have one of these too and LOVE it. We sell them at work and that's probably why I wasn't too cheap to buy it--I got my employee discount :-) What I love from a retail standpoint is that all we have to stock is four sizes! They hardly take up any wall space. I agree with publichealthdoula that they don't often work for women with a big difference in band and cup, though.
I loved these when I was pregnant and/or nursing, but with time, the elastic band started to wear out. It's been a couple years since I've used one, and I'm sure they've improved since then.
I also got that exact bra when DD was born - and let me let you on a secret too: I still wear it over a year later, even though we are not nursing (snif) anymore. It's THAT comfy. In fact, it's that comfy that I will, from now on, pregnant, nursing, or just plain ol' woman needing a bra, only buy this bra.
I love it.
(love the coupon! :) )
I have two Bravadas and I recommend them to anyone who asks and even to some who don't. I am curious also to hear if Kelis is going to breastfeed. Please keep us updated....
I LOVE those bras!! They are so comfy and supportive!! After 15 mos nursing, I could use a new one. Thanks so much for the code!!
Some fantastic sexy nursing bras from HOTmilk are available now with huge discounts at Hermama. Just Google Hermama to find a bargain while stocks last.
Thank you for the review on nursing bras, i think you were spot on.
