In an interview with People magazine shortly after the birth of the twins, she implied that formula is better for babies, a determination she claims she made after doing the research. When pressed further during another interview when the babies were a few months old, she told the reported she'd share the real reason but only if it were off the record and the reporter declined.

----- Reply message -----Elita @ Blacktatinghttp://www.blacktating.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3536683374417960813.post-51674207270935743372011-06-24T15:32:49.321-04:002011-06-24T15:32:49.321-04:00Give J-Lo a break. This shouldn't be about making the non-breastfeeders look bad and the breastfeeders like gods. Can't we give up on the mommy wars?betterworld4momsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3536683374417960813.post-70358830349275468462011-03-17T00:11:09.603-04:002011-03-17T00:11:09.603-04:00Yep, breastfeeding twins is tough. I've been ...Yep, breastfeeding twins is tough. I've been doing it for 13 months, and will continue to do so until they self-wean. It's great that Angelina nursed her twins for a little while. But, if I had all the resources she has, our nursing journey could have been much easier! We couldn't afford to hire help, so it was me, my hubby, and my mom taking care of two colicky babies. I didn't sleep for more than three hours in any 24, often in one hour stretches for the first three months. It was hell, but we made it! And I always nursed (and still do) the boys at the same time because otherwise I wouldn't have gotten anything else done.Mama Mo @ Attached at the Nipnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3536683374417960813.post-31890107390650663112008-12-08T21:38:00.000-05:002008-12-08T21:38:00.000-05:00I used the football hold for my kid for weeks as t...I used the football hold for my kid for weeks as this was the most natural and comfortable hold for me, and I gotta tell you, it actually bothered other people. My sister-in-law actually instructed me in how to breastfeed my daughter by cradling her in front of me. Finally I got the hang of it and I went with it just to get people off my back. It was odd.Amber Fraleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04586410355379054829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3536683374417960813.post-14163194480834471762008-11-22T10:02:00.000-05:002008-11-22T10:02:00.000-05:00As a mother who nursed her twins, I have to mentio...As a mother who nursed her twins, I have to mention that I only nursed them at the same time once.

It is something people don't think about, but their latches were so different that when they nursed at the same time it was sensory overload. I felt like my head was going to explode.

It was easier to just take turns breastfeeding them.

That being said, I didn't sleep for about three months.Sarah, Goon Squad Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12281098822701795940noreply@blogger.com
